The position of Senior Firewall Analyst with PCNSE certification is an exciting opportunity for experienced network security professionals. Here are the key details of the job:

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide technical analysis for network security planning and design

  • Serve as the enterprise expert in network and cybersecurity infrastructure

  • Implement and maintain network security tools and devices

  • Troubleshoot complex network issues

  • Validate enterprise-level network security designs

  • Monitor and mitigate potential performance issues

  • Provide guidance to team members and status updates to management

  • Offer third-level support, including occasional after-hours and weekend coverage

Qualifications

  • Expert-level knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls1

  • Experience with enterprise networks and cybersecurity

  • 8 years of relevant cybersecurity experience

  • Active Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance

  • Proficiency in NIST 800-series guidelines

  • Familiarity with routers, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other network security devices

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication abilities
